For Czechs, Christmas means fish soup, carp and potato salad. From December 24 while supplies last, we are serving a Christmas menu at U Matěje Kotrby that gives these holiday classics our own twist. You can look forward to creamy fish soup with fried egg yolk, lovage oil and seasonal vegetables, and fried carp strips with warm potato salad and lemon sauce. For a sweet finish, enjoy warm Czech Christmas bread with egg liqueur and almond ice cream.
